The finest and smoothest taste

The Galician lobster is one of the most appreciated and highly valued seafood in the auctions of the Galician fish markets. Its appearance, as well as its flavor, is similar to that of the lobster, but without front claws, orange-brown in color and its meat is very thin, consistent, white and delicate.  It is one of the most appreciated seafood in the world, and its flavor cannot be compared with the lobster that inhabits other seas, this is due to the unique conditions of the sea in Galicia, in terms of temperature, nutrient content of its waters, as well as the orography of its seabed and the diversity of its flora and fauna.

The Galician lobster is caught by artisanal fishing using pots and gillnets and its closed season is from January 1st to September 30th.
